Ramadan 2027 · 1448 AH

Make this the Ramadan you complete the Quran

Ramadan is expected to begin around 7–8 February 2027, depending on the moon sighting. A plan made now is easier to keep than one made on the first night.

“The month of Ramaḍān [is that] in which was revealed the Qur’ān, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion.”

Al-Baqarah 2:185 (Sahih International)

Pick your Ramadan goal

Three honest options. All of them are a real achievement; pick the one you'll keep on the hard days too.

Complete the Quran in the month

216 verses a day

About 21 pages a day of the 604-page mushaf. Plans for 29 days, so a short month doesn't leave you behind.

Half the Quran

108 verses a day

About 10 pages a day of the 604-page mushaf. A strong, steady month for most people.

A third of the Quran (10 juz)

72 verses a day

About 7 pages a day of the 604-page mushaf. Room for long nights and busy days.

Numbers are for 29 days, from all 6,236 verses. Pages are an average.

Make your own plan

A gentle run-up

  1. NowChoose a small daily goal and read it every day. The aim is the habit, not the amount.
  2. Rajab (around 10–11 December 2026)Keep going. If it's easy, add a few verses.
  3. Sha'ban (around 9 January 2027)Choose your Ramadan goal and set up your phone, so the first night is about reading, not settings.
  4. Ramadan (around 7–8 February 2027)Read your daily amount. If you fall behind, spread the missed verses over the next few days.
  5. The last ten nights (around 27 February 2027)Many people read more in these nights. A plan with spare room makes that easier.
  6. After EidKeep a smaller daily goal, so the Quran doesn't end with Ramadan.

Ramadan questions

When does Ramadan 2027 start?

Ramadan 1448 AH is expected to begin around 7–8 February 2027, with Eid ul-Fitr around 9 March 2027. The exact dates depend on the moon sighting, so check with your local mosque.

How many verses a day to complete the Quran in Ramadan?

216 verses a day completes the Quran in 29 days; 208 a day in 30. In the 604-page mushaf that's about 21 pages, a little over a juz each day.

Should I start before Ramadan?

If you can, yes. A small daily goal from Rajab or Sha'ban means the habit is already in place when Ramadan begins, and anything you read before Ramadan counts toward completing the Quran. Use the planner to see what starting early does.

Can Qurb help in Ramadan?

Set a Ramadan goal in Qurb and it tracks every verse, shows whether you're on track to finish, and can keep distracting apps locked until today's reading is done (premium, on iPhone). The Quran reader itself is free.
