About the planner

How many verses are in the Quran?

The Quran has 6,236 verses in 114 surahs, in the common Kufan count used by most printed mushafs and by Quran.com. This planner uses that count.

How many verses a day to complete the Quran in Ramadan?

About 216 verses a day completes the Quran in 29 days, and 208 a day in 30 days. In pages of the standard 604-page mushaf, that's about 21 pages a day, or a little over one juz.

Why plan in verses and not pages?

Verses are the same in every mushaf and every app, while page counts depend on the print. Qurb counts verses for that reason. Pages here are an average across the 604-page Madani mushaf, so treat them as a guide.

What if I miss a day?

Come back to the planner, set where you are now and the same finish date, and it will give you a new daily number. Small, steady amounts matter more than a perfect record.
